Given the theme of the game, campaign ideas/systems revolving around cult dynamics, personal ascension, etc. Maybe Everett should instead be able to convert Risks of Fascination to actual Fascination outside of times of power? Otherwise it isn't actually possible to get lost to obsession during the boat fight.Īnyway, good job on making this compelling scenario! I hope you will produce more RPG materials ( eventually system agnostic ). However multiple risks of Fascination won't stack, so only the suggestion will apply. Everett will then try to influence a character with his light, making him roll Determination and putting him at Risk of Fascination. When fighting Everett on the lightboat, all characters will be at Risk of Fascination. Maybe this could be an additional lead or contact? Did Loretta help in Audrey's ascension? Do Moshe have some occult contact from the Tigris in Jerusalem? It might be nice to have some explanation on how they got their items. Loretta or Moshe obviously have an occult past they a couple of artifacts in their house ( bone flute, port Noon waters, candescent blood ) and Moshe knew about the inhuman nature of Audrey. Fleshing out this part makes it as interesting as going to the ball. There is not much in the scenario about those options it might be nice to add some paragraphs about the difficulty of such a tentative, the possible advantages depending on the information the characters bring up, and whether or not they can prevent Bruneau from contacting the Lodge and Audrey to search for the characters and Gwendolin and block escape routes from the city. When meeting Gwendolen in the Invisible Serapheum, the characters might want to convince her to leave the city without going to the ball or abduct her to prevent her to go to the ball and extrade her ( having an exile in the group, the party had the skills for such an evasion ). The earthquake is mentioned as being a spell of Everett, should it happen even if Everett has been defeated? the telegraph is sent in the future! Shouldn't it be late june? ![]() In the Artifact Epidote, the date is the 31/8/192. There is also other mentions of days of the week that seems of in the article the Endeavour lodge ball happened Saturday ( one week ago ), but shouldn't it then have been mentioned in a previous newspaper already? In the Artifact Feldspar, there is a mention of the Monday 28th June, while the 28th is Mentioned to be a saturday everywhere else in the scenario. The dates in the newspapers don't always add up. The year of the current date is often left out 192-, but since Gwendolen is supposed to be around 20 as she studies in university, it might make more sense to hardcode a realistic date 1927? While it might be the case to avoid revealing her existence in case the letter is intercepted by Audrey, this is strange as the true purpose of Loretta is probably not to find Audrey, but to protect Gwendolin. In the Artefact Anthracite, Loretta does not mention her daugther. We had a great experience with the game and there is some feedback and fixes I would like to share: I've just played the lady afterwards yesterday with some friends. ![]()
